Things are looking up? :-) fingers crossed...

Gail Johnson- 28 March 2017
Our injuries seem to be on the mend at HBH HQ (keeping everything crossed!).

HBH Woody is still out of work with the check ligament but is now back in the herd, isn't lame and appears to be pain free and happy.

HBH Daisy is coming back into work (again!) and will hopefully stay in work this time.

As for the others, HBH Sixty continues to enjoy his retirement (27 this year) and HBH Star is next on my list of projects when I have one ridden horse back in full work - just don't anyone tell her or she will go and self harm again in the field.

Injuries at HBH Hq :-(

Gail Johnson- 10 January 2017

It's been a busy time at HBH Hq with the team and the vet !

Just before Christmas HBH Star came in from the field one day with unexplained head injuries followed by a colic - all was swiftly treated and thankfully she has made a great recovery.

HBH Woody unfortunately has somehow injured his check ligament which is a major blow to us.  He won't entertain box rest at all (cantering round the stable) so we are currently trying an alternative approach with limited turnout, hosing, bandaging etc.

Any helpful tips gratefully received!  In the interim, hopefully Woody will recover soon and the rest of the team will stay happy and healthy.
